Minicab booking software built for the phone call

Book a ride in CDS takes a booking in the time it takes the caller to say where they’re going. Returning customers are found by their number, the route appears on the map, and the fare comes from your own prices.

Find the caller, fill the booking

Type the phone number and CDS finds the customer, with how many trips they’ve taken. A new caller is saved as you book, so next time they’re found too.

  • An extra phone number per booking, so a second person gets the texts
  • Email optional, for customers who want their booking by email
  • Pick an account for business customers and the price follows their rates
  • With caller ID, Book a ride opens with the caller’s number already in

Route, traffic and the right price

Pick the pickup and drop-off from addresses, postcodes or your own places, such as airports and stations, and the route appears on Google Maps with live traffic.

  • Choose another route and the fare is quoted again
  • Add stops along the way
  • Distances in miles, or kilometres if you prefer
  • Fixed fares where you have them, mileage rates everywhere else, and an override when you need one

Everything the driver needs to know

The details that make a job go smoothly are part of the booking, and they go into the driver’s text.

  • Passengers, suitcases and cabin bags
  • Baby, child and booster seats, by age
  • Flight number and a note to the driver
  • Vehicle type, and Cash, Card or Account payment
  • Airport drop-off charges and “plus parking” on top of the fare
  • Book now, or schedule it for later

Small things that save time on every call

Take a second call

Book a ride opens in a new tab, so a second phone call never loses the first booking.

Trade under more than one name

Book under up to five business names. Texts, emails and the driver link use the name the customer rang.

Pickup instructions

Save where to meet at each airport or station, and passengers are told in the driver-on-the-way text.
